Your Retirement Speech – Write Your Career Story

This is an exercise designed to get you thinking about how you define career success. For this exercise you need to write the speech or feature article that would be written on your retirement. The speech will describe your career, the path taken to get where you are today and your achievements.
Once you have written your retirement speech you need to reflect and determine the goals and actions needed to get to you to that point. How will you get from where you are now to having that speech made?
Create a list of accomplishments and achievements and identify the key goals you want to achieve in your career.
Remember, your goals should be clear, measurable, attainable, realistic and time-bound.
